Busy day today... I didn't have time to do more than look at Audrie's thumbs for today's Inspiration challenge.
Luckily two of them really spoke to me. If I have time later on I'll come back and make a card using the first thumb - I need an anniversary card for my sister.
No prizes for guessing that I went for the 4th thumb to make a masculine birthday card as I need several in July.
For the faux leather I swiped some kraft with brown inks, crumpled it, embossed it with the Paisley, inked it again and added clear EP.
Didn't have time to fuss around with real burlap so I used Aida Cloth stamped on kraft with Vintage Photo.
Only the edge of the kraft layer is real stitching, everything else is white gel pen. I added some stars cut from matt gold card. Base sponged with Vintage Photo distress stain and stamped with IO cover-a-card Script.

For someone who didn't have a lot of time, you certainly put together a masterpiece! Looks like you have more luck with white gel pens than I do. This is a great guy card!!!

You are a regular "dictionary of craft supply info". I have never heard of most of the things you use to get such awesome affects. I love this card with all of the faux textures...now I have to search the internet to figure out what they are. Crafting budget is a little depleted since my DH lost his job and both of my sons have gotten the nerve to asks girls to prom..This is a first for us. Definitely faved this card. It is great.
